Expanding opportunities in Round Rock to make education possible. 🚗⚡

The ACC Foundation team was thrilled to join community leaders and supporters at the ACC Round Rock Campus yesterday to celebrate the upcoming expansion of the Automotive Technology program, funded by the ACC 2022 General Obligation Bond.

As automotive technology evolves, this expanded facility will give ACC students access to cutting-edge tools and clear pathways to rewarding careers in our local community.

Thanks to your generosity, our Riverbat Bites Food Pantries across all 11 campuses are ready to keep ACC students healthy, focused, and energized this academic year.

Every contribution removes barriers to education and proves what our community can accomplish when we come together!
From all of us at the ACC Foundation and our students: thank you for your ongoing dedication and generosity! ✨

Members of our ACC Foundation team were honored to attend the groundbreaking of the new Healthcare Professions facility at ACC Hays Campus.

Projects like this represent a shared vision for our region. Expanded, state-of-the-art facilities open doors for students to gain high-demand skills, transform their careers, and uplift Central Texas's healthcare workforce.

Special thank you to Trustee Steven Jackobs and the team at Capital IDEA for attending and their continued support as we celebrate this important milestone across our College!

Earlier this week, several ACC Foundation Board (ACCF) members and staff were honored to attend the Central Texas Community Foundation (CTXCF) Legacy Luncheon, joining ACCF and CTXCF Board Member Sam Bakir, CFP® as guests of TNT Asset Management, LLC.

Surrounded by over 70 area nonprofits and funding organizations, the event was a powerful celebration of community generosity and the vibrant spirit of philanthropy across Central Texas. We are deeply grateful for the strong partnerships that continue to fuel our shared mission and impact, allowing us to love ACC's students to success! 💜

The Austin Community College Foundation celebrated the ribbon cutting of the Dr. John Roueche Conference Room at our ACC Highland Campus. Through the Drs. John & Suanne Roueche Endowed Scholarship, established in 2012, students have been able to pursue their educational goals and create brighter futures for themselves and their families.

Dr. Roueche has been a steadfast supporter of the ACC Foundation and has served as a member of the ACC Foundation’s Board of Directors since 2012. His legacy and support for our students will be honored by the naming of one of our collaborative spaces, as we continue to celebrate his generosity, including his endowed scholarship supporting The Roueche Scholars.

We were honored to have Roueche Scholars in attendance to celebrate this special occasion, along with Austin Community College District (ACC) Chancellor Dr. Russell Lowery-Hart, members of the ACC Board of Trustees, and the ACC Foundation Board of Directors.

Dahlia R., a Roueche Scholar, shared:
“Listening to Dr. Roueche's story today makes me feel like I have something in common with him. I realize he has a story similar to mine and that he is giving back to the community because of how he was empowered as a student, so this was really special.”

The newly named conference room will serve as a space for collaboration and meaningful connections. We are proud to honor Dr. Roueche’s lasting impact he makes for our ACC students. 🎓✨

"I really appreciate the food pantry because it truly helps a lot. I think it is a great help for my family and I to be able to have food provided to us by ACC!" - ACC Student
