How is Cirrus Logic helping enable smarter, more efficient energy systems?

In an interview with Silicon Semiconductor, Eddie Sinnott, Vice President of the Industrial and Automotive Business Units at Cirrus Logic, discusses how we’re building on our mixed-signal semiconductor expertise with support from a Scottish Enterprise research and development grant.

The funding is supporting development of a new metrology analogue front-end (AFE) platform designed to deliver high-accuracy energy measurement for smart power metering applications. The core IP can support applications including EV charging, data centre DC metrology, energy storage and grid monitoring.
