When you think super car, does Mercedes come to mind?

I had the pleasure of providing media for during the Barber Vintage Festival where the GP2 890rr was reviewed in proper race conditions.

Unlike a typical press launch where writers and media have the track to themselves, I was challenged to provide photo and video for 3 writers and 3 bikes during a fast paced race weekend with limited track time. This is easily one of the coolest bikes around and I’m grateful for opportunity.

I got to tag along to the team test (thanks ) where I saw riding a basically stock R7 while the final touches were made to his R3. I wouldn’t have guessed that the R7 wasn’t his bike because he looked right at home on it so I’m stoked to see him racing it in the Twins Cup this weekend.

One of the cool things about being around the MotoAmerica paddock is meeting some of the racers and watching their riding and programs progress. & Co built an R1 for the Brainerd round of the Stock 1000 class which impressively resulted in a podium finish. Did I mention it was his first time riding that bike? I caught some snaps of him testing a R1 at COTA. Which, hopefully, is a sign of things to come because this guy rips and it would be great to see him on a full team.

Stopped by COTA this past weekend and ran into a few MotoAmerica riders. One of which was twins class racer who was testing the Harley Davidson Pan-America in preparation for the class this weekend.
