Today is my boy's 20th birthday!🎉
We went down to Boston a few weeks ago to celebrate both of our birthdays, which is turning into our new tradition!

Made him a little Ta**us mat for his room... funny he recongnized the glyph right away, but couldn't read the cursive😅

The All Skulls blanket pattern turns 5 this year!
So to celebrate, I'm releasing an Anniversary Edition!

To make this re-release happen, I'm looking for new pattern testers to join the team! If you're interested in crocheting the All Skulls blanket and would like to try pattern testing, now is your chance!

(And if you're already in the Sixel Secret Society, and want to jump in on this test, let me know!)

I plan on releasing the Anniversary Edition in September, so pattern testers should keep that in mind when applying. On average, testers have completed the original afghan size in 2-4 months.

Got a few more hats done! I'm still figuring out a good place to donate all of these locally, but if any of you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear it!

I have 32 hats so far, and next I'll be working through all of the patterns in the Dark & Dramatic book!

Now that the cursive alphabet is out, I thought it would be cool to make a "Sixel Design" sign to hang in my studio, or for when I ever decide to sell my stuff at craft fairs! The death's head moth has become my little mascot, so I added it to the bottom of the sign.

Words and phrases from the testers! There were so many edits along the way, so some of these letters are from previous versions of the pattern, but I thought it would be fun to share them all anyway! This was a huge pattern test so thank you all so much for working with me and being so patient!😅❤️

So many of you have been asking if this is surface crochet. It's 100% overlay mosaic crochet. The pattern includes 4 versions of every letter- capitals, and lowercase letters that start a word, connecting letters, and letters after b, o, v, and w. I've been working on this pattern for months and so excited to finally share it at the end of the week!
