🐾 Why Pickup Times Matter 🐾

At Life is Ruff, we are proud to be a one-on-one, cage-free grooming salon. This means your pup receives personalized attention in a calm, stress-free environment without spending hours waiting in a kennel.

Because we work with dogs individually and do not use cages, timely pickup is extremely important. When a groom is complete, we need that space available for the next pup’s appointment. Late pickups can create scheduling challenges and may increase stress for dogs that are ready to head home.

To help make pickup as convenient as possible, your groomer will always ask how much notice you need before your pup is ready to go home. We ask that you arrive within the timeframe provided so we can continue offering the personalized, cage-free experience that makes Life is Ruff special.

✨ Bella is looking absolutely precious after her spa day with Jess! ✨

From her perfectly fluffy ears to her adorable little red bow, Bella was an absolute sweetheart for her visit. ❤️🐾 Jess gave her lots of one-on-one attention to make sure she left feeling comfortable, refreshed, and looking her very best.

We think Bella’s big, beautiful eyes might just be the cutest part of her makeover… although that fresh haircut is giving them some competition! 🥰

Originally bred to be royal lap dogs, Shih Tzus thrive on attention and love spending time with their families. They’re friendly, affectionate, and make wonderful companions for people of all ages.

✨ Fun Fact: Their long, beautiful coat requires regular grooming to stay healthy, comfortable, and tangle-free. Routine grooming also helps keep their eyes and skin clean and healthy.

With warmer weather comes more outdoor adventures… and more ticks hiding in the grass and woods 🌿☀️

Ticks aren’t just annoying — they can carry illnesses that affect both pets and humans. Regular grooming helps us check those hard-to-see spots and catch any unwanted hitchhikers early! 🐶

After hikes, walks, or backyard playtime, be sure to:
✔️ Check your pup’s coat, ears, paws, and neck
✔️ Keep up with vet-recommended tick prevention
✔️ Stay on a consistent grooming schedule

A clean coat makes it much easier to spot ticks before they become a bigger problem! 🛁✨
