In Nigeria, over 240 million people are served by only 2.9 doctors per 10,000 people. Access to specialized care and diagnostic equipment remains limited.
Through the work of the Association of Nigerian Physicians in the Americas (ANPA), diaspora physicians provide surgeries, specialty care, training for local providers, and public health education to underserved communities.
