One of our fantastic volunteers who regularly check in on our clients informed us that Mr. Charles' bathtub drain wasn't draining properly. Mr. Charles is a blind senior neighbor who we have provided with a new roof a few years ago and a major kitchen repair earlier this year. We were able to have Armando with A.H. Roofing and Construction out to replace his drain and get the bathtub draining properly again. We love that you can see the gorgeous new red and blue water lines from his previous kitchen repair in these photos!

You have neighbors on your street who are trying to get by on fixed incomes. They have to budget for food, utilities, medication, property taxes, etc... We provide free critical repairs to elderly and low-income neighbors' homes in Eastlake, Kirkwood, and Edgewood using licensed and insured contractors who transform who make dramatic repairs like the one pictured here! We are only able to do so because of generous financial gifts from y'all; our incredible and caring neighbors!

Ms. Gloria on Dearborn called to see if we could get her gutters cleaned after the last heavy rain. We called A Better Gutter Cleaning, Inc. and they volunteered to clean her gutters FREE OF CHARGE! We're SO thankful (Ms. Gloria is even more thankful) for the generosity and excellent work of our friends at A Better Gutter Cleaning. Great communication, professional service AND they offer regularly scheduled cleanings so you can get on their calendar, set it and forget it! ❤️

Ms. Bowman on Warren SE heard about us through a neighbor. We got her AC up and running with a miraculous turnaround for electrical and install JUST before a SUPER hot weekend. After that we tore up the rotten floors and falling down cabinets in her kitchen and got her all new and SAFE floors and cabinets! ❤️🎉
