My album is out today‼️

13 highlight tracks from over the years that showcase my sound in 1 package. I’ve wanted to do this for years! Something I can point to and say THAT’S my sound. 🫡

The past 15 years have been absolutely fu***ng insane. INSANE. I’ve lived every childhood dream I could ever possibly imagine. I wish I could express how grateful I am. I’ve included some gig clip highlights too. How on earth have I been lucky enough to travel the world playing my music? Half the things I’ve done feel like a dream.

I started music at 14, I’m now 29. Ive grown up doing this. I’ve released over 200+ tracks, raised artists from the ground up, build a record label around my sound & travelled the globe doing what I love.

With all of that being said, I will be stepping back from the ‘Albzzy’ project for quite some time to focus on other projects and life plans. Everything will continue!

This isn’t goodbye, never.
It’s a ‘meet me at the mothership’ type of deal, whenever that might be. 🛸

This year marks 10 years as an international DJ for me. An achievement in its own right, but I’d like to tell part of my story.

Something I’ve always wanted to talk about but seen been sure on how. This feels like the right time & reason to talk about it!

When I was 16 I survived a house fire and saved my family. We were essentially homeless and in a different b&b or a friend’s house every night for months and months. I still don’t have the words to accurately describe what all of that did to me. It’s something I still live with now basically daily.

When we moved in to a solid long-term flat as a family, I felt I finally had a home & a safe space again, and when I walked in for the first time, I didn’t walk back out for 6 months.

My step-dad, bless his heart, trained me to go outside and walk again. Every night a little closer to Sainsbury’s haha.

Near the end of 2015, in the middle of this struggle, I recieved an email from Jackin Records, aka asking me to come and play my first ever international gig in Vienna.
(My love for Vienna, may make a little more sense now).

This was my opportunity. Take it and take back my life or forever stay damaged. I took it.

My dad took me to the airport, but physically I couldn’t get out of the car for ages, I was terrified.
20 minutes later, I got out, and went off on my own for my first international gig in the midst of depression, anxiety, PTSD & more.

When I came home, I walked through Bexhill and everything felt warm & orange and like life had turned a corner.

I think my smile in this photo taken from the gig says everything else.

1,000,000 streams on 1 track is utterly INSANE to me. Something I along with I’m sure most artists out there have dreamed of for a long time. I’ve been doing this for 15 years and this has been a goal since day fu***ng dot.

& I made this at the very very start of lockdown in just a few hours on discord, and we got the maddest reaction and support as soon as we started to tease it. What a time 2020 was for uk bass / bassline. That and 2014 jackin house are the best eras ever for me haha.

Often the tracks that do well for me are when I try something a little different, but this one’s straight up OG Bassline Albzzy filth & I’m proper gassed that this tracks has flown/flies the flag for me as an artist!
