Intimacy with God:: with Larry Smith
Thursday nights
June 4 - July 30, 2026
7 - 8:30 pm
Led by Larry Smith, this course helps students deepen their personal relationship with God through a practical and Scripture-centered study of prayer.
While much can be gained by attending in person, this class will be available in person or over zoom, and MAS students can earn up to 24 practicum hours as part of this course.

Perimeter Residency Program with MAS ::
Starting this August there is an opportunity to join the two-year residency program at Perimeter Church and be trained in ministry while engaging in your Master of Divinity studies with Metro Atlanta Seminary.
This paid position in vocational ministry will include both education and experience in the reformed faith.
While we are praying the Lord would call a cohort of pulpit ministers to begin the Christ-Centered Preaching Concentration starting in August, there are a limited number of positions available as a resident, so reach out with your interest ASAP!

We pray all our students’ education will go far beyond intellectual exploration and each of them will experience heart level change and renewal because of their studies at MAS.
Nate Berry’s story is exemplary, but not unique with a curriculum and mentoring that focus on the individual’s spiritual development and not simply knowledge acquired.

Now Metro Atlanta Seminary has launched a major new initiative to offer preaching students an entire program that takes the principles of Christ-centered preaching and pours them into courses and seminars that equip students for excellence in preaching with a heart of gospel care for God’s people.
The Christ-Centered Preaching Concentration, designed for those called to pulpit ministry, will train you to preach Christ from all of Scripture with textual accuracy, gospel conviction, and a pastoral heart."

Congrats Dillon Bennett!
Dillon graduated as a Master of Divinity with the MAS class of 2025 and his ordination service was March 29, 2026. We are so proud of all of the hard work it takes to graduate and pass your licensure and ordination exams and cannot wait to see what the Lord does through you and your family’s lives in Scottland with Mission to the World!
