Saturday afternoon in Hiram (1pm-3pm), Bethel Methodist Church, a birthday celebration for one of the last surviving players of the fabled Atlanta Crackers team that played in Ponce de Leon Park. 93 year old Taylor Phillips baseball career intersected with a Milwaukee Braves World Series title, Willie Mays and Sandy Koufax. Mr. Phillips has impacted generations of youngsters in NW Georgia.
