2 years ago today, the best man I’ve ever known transitioned to another place. 🙏🏾 I’ve gotten better with accepting this, however I’m aware of the traumas this created and reignited. It’s a work in progress. I promised myself to honor my feelings, but to not make this become my identity because my dad would want me to live, be happy, and be well. It took me a long time to come to terms with the things I needed to handle in his absence, but I haven’t given up. ☝🏾 Pray for me on this next leg of my journey as I do everything possible to secure his house. 🙏🏾 I don’t wanna say I miss you, because you check on me all the time. ☺️ I hope you’re much happier with how my life is going these days and the people in it. Love you, Dad, and I’ll talk to you soon! 💜😇

It’s AMAZING how I’ve endured many years of trying to get back into my field, only for a miracle to happen when I least expected it!

A free of you may remember that before I was a dancer in the club, I was a computer tech for TBS (yes, the TV station) at CNN Center. So for those of you who have tried to clown me for being a dancer and thinking that’s the only thing I do, ever done, or my highest accomplishment…😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😭 Anyway, swipe to see me pictures from then to now. It’s incredible how a way is made for me to succeed, despite my circumstances. I am forever grateful. ASHÉ! 🙌🏾💜

I’M AN ART EXHIBIT IN LONDON! 🤯 photographed me in 2018 and a few other dancers at as well as a few other clubs, and other women over the last 4 years. Her beautiful work entitled “Atlanta Made Us Famous” won the British Journal of Photography () Intentional award and earned Hajar her first solo exhibit at ! If you’re in London, you can visit this exhibit from December 8 - January 28! What a great early birthday gift! 🥳💜♐️

👀 how it started… I know y’all are looking for Roulette and how got me to look JUST LIKE HER! I work so much that I don’t make enough time to post as often as I should. So, catching up…starting TODAY!

I did a thing 😊💇🏾‍♀️

That thing included taking better care of myself. Yes, I still miss my dad. 🙏🏾💜 Yes, I’m STILL fighting my criminal case and raising money to pay the remainder of my legal fees (link in bio). In addition to these things, I’m re-learning how to wear makeup without causing my blepharitis to erupt. Basically, my eyes are allergic to lash glue and certain makeups. Even the kind made for sensitive eyes. I allowed all of these things and more to be an excuse as to why I didn’t look or feel my best. Hearing loved ones say I was letting go of myself was a wake up call to stop holding myself back and start finding solutions. It’s been a rough year, but that doesn’t mean I had to show that on the outside. Please excuse my eyelash coming off in this picture 😂 I took these after getting off set with a new BET TV show coming soon! ! 📺
