ATLANTA KRISHNA CAMP - July 20th-26th
Come spend a week at first ever Atlanta Krishna Camp. Children, boys and girls, ages 10-18, are welcome to attend to this resident camp. Each day begins with mantra meditation and yoga and is be filled with mrdanga and harmonium classes, and group activities and sports. Children will be provided healthy vegetarian meals. Also H.H.Rtadhvaja Swami will be having interactive sessions with the youth, making it a magical experience.

If we hear about Krishna, His name, His fame, then Krishna is present before us.. Gear up this weekend for more hearing with H.H. Radha Raman Maharaj. He will be treating us with nectarean discourses at the temple on June 27th , 28th and 29th from 6:00 p-8:00 p. This will be followed by Prasadam. Maharaj is known for Vraja Parikramas and enlivening Krishna Kathas. He is also the brother of H.H. Radha Govinda Swami.

Mukunda Datta Prabhu , a disciple of Srila Prabhupada will be treating us with nectarean discourses at the temple on June 11th, Wednesday. This is his second visit to Atlanta after 1976, when he travelled here with Sri Sri Radha Damodar Sankirtan party.
Morning : Srimad Bhagavatam class at 8 am
Evening : Bhajans and lecture at 7:00 pm
Dinner prasadam will be served.
About: Mukunda Datta Prabhu is a disciple of Srila Prabhupada. He joined ISKCON when he was just 15 years old and has been serving in various capacities ever since. Currently he's a member of the Sastric Advisory Council for ISKCON GBC and is translating books from Sanskrit to English for the BBT. He is currently living in Vrindavan with his wife, Sri Murti dasi. Mukunda Prabhu is an amazing personality with a rare combination of being a very pious and gentle brahmana, an excellent singer and musician, a learned scholar in scriptures and Sanskrit, a wonderful pujari expert in Deity worship.
Adivas Ceremony starts at 5:30 pm with Arati and 6:00 pm. Procession of deities. We are having a big procession of Little Gaura Nitai deities taken in a palanquin around the temple and to the Springdale Park. We need 20+ young little devotee girls and 20+ young devotee boys who will be the escorts for Their Lordships. The Girls will be throwing flower petals along the way for the Lord to travel. H.H. Rtadhvaja Swami will be giving Srimad Bhagavatam class on Thursday and Friday at 8 am .Rtadhvaja Swami was born and raised in a rural farming community in North Dakota, U.S.A. His first encounter with the devotees was in 1972, when some of the Radha Damodara Traveling Sankirtana Party came to his house and asked if they could take some flowers from his front yard. It was a few years later, in 1975, that he first came upon Srila Prabhupada's books, started chanting, visited a temple, and became a part of the Hare Krishna movement. He received initiation from Srila Prabhupada in June 1977 in Gainesville, Florida. His service attitude caught the eye of Hridayananda Maharaja, and he was asked to become Maharaja's traveling servant and secretary. He accepted the renounced order of life in Mayapura on Gaura Purnima 1985. Maharaja has been spending all of his time in the United States, traveling between Florida, Tennessee and Texas.
