Shiloh is a 5 month old, 5.5 lb Yorkie-Poodle mix puppy (aka Yorkiepoo). She originally came from a backyard breeder and was surrendered to her pet sitter to keep her out of the shelter.

She is timid at first, but once she feels comfortable, she is the sweetest, cuddliest, and most playful little girl! She loves pets and treats and gets along great with small dogs and cats. She would do best with another small, confident dog to show her the ropes, or with someone who works from home and can give her plenty of companionship.

Shiloh is crate-trained and happily sleeps in her crate at night. She is still working on potty training outside but is excellent with p*e pads. Because she is easily scared and hasn't had much stability, she needs a patient adopter who understands puppies and will give her time to build confidence. With love and patience, Shiloh blossoms into an absolute sweetheart!

Trinity Update 💔

Last night, around 11:15 PM, Trinity’s foster mom went to check on her for the night and walked into a bloody mess. Trinity had managed to scratch open part of her incision with her back foot, and she was bleeding. A lot.

Her foster mom immediately used what she could to apply a pressure wrap and rushed her to our friends at Arista Advanced Pet Care. Within moments of arriving, their team took Trinity to the back and worked to get the bleeding under control.

Trinity also had a fever, so it was decided that she needed to stay overnight for IV antibiotics, fluids, and monitoring. They also took a culture to make sure we are using the appropriate antibiotics, and we should have those results in the next few days.

We just picked her up, and she’s now headed to our regular vet for monitoring throughout the day.

Trinity had been doing so well with her recovery, and we were so hopeful that the hardest part was behind her.

This sweet girl truly melts hearts everywhere she goes. We just want to get her safely through this recovery so she can put all of this behind her, move forward with her life, and eventually find the forever home she deserves.

Promise is a 2 year old, 10 lb Miniature Poodle with a playful personality and a heart full of love! She has all the fun, energetic puppy spirit and is looking for an active family to share adventures with.

Promise loves walks, hikes, car rides, and exploring with her people. She’s good on leash (though she can pull a little when she’s excited), is crate trained, mostly house trained, and can potty on leash, so a fenced yard isn’t required.

She is incredibly affectionate and loves giving nose boops, kisses, and snuggling under the covers at bedtime.

Promise gains her confidence from other dogs and REQUIRES another playful, confident dog in the home who is similar in size.

Because she’s still sensitive to loud noises and sudden movements, Promise will do best in a calm home without young, rowdy children. She may be a little shy at first, especially with men, but she warms up beautifully with gentle, patient people.

If you’re looking for a sweet, active little companion who will keep you laughing, cuddle up with you every night, and adore her canine sibling, Promise is ready to find her forever family!

Marge is a 3.5 year old, 29 lb Mini American Shepherd/Poodle mix (Aussiedoodle) with a gentle heart and a loving personality. She may be a little nervous when first meeting new people, but she warms up quickly and soon becomes your loyal shadow.

Eager to please and highly food motivated, Marge is both smart and responsive, making her a joy to work with. She gets along well with other dogs and especially enjoys a good game of chase in the yard. She’s also great on a leash, making walks easy and enjoyable.

At home, Marge is a total cuddle bug who loves curling up beside you on the couch and showering you with affectionate kisses. She would thrive in a calm household and is best suited for a home without children under 16. She is making great progress with house training in her foster home.

While Marge does well with other dogs out in public, she would prefer all of the attention in her forever home and needs to be an only pet.

Marge is ready to find a patient, loving home where she can continue to blossom and share her sweet, devoted nature.

Thom Yorke was rescued from the same neglect situation as Hayley Williams. Unfortunately, the neglect he endured left him heartworm positive. Because he was on an active court hold at animal control and was not technically their property, his heartworm treatment could not be started.

Thankfully, the case is now over, and Thom is officially a part of Orphan Annie Rescue. ❤️

Yesterday, Thom had his exam, X-rays, and bloodwork at Edgewater Animal Hospital, and tomorrow he begins his heartworm treatment.

We have already spent $430 on Thom’s care, and the remainder of his treatment is estimated to cost another $780.

We know we have asked for your help a lot lately, and we truly hate having to ask again. But medical cases like Thom’s are exactly why we exist, and we can’t turn our backs on him now that he is finally safe with us.

If you can donate even a few dollars toward Thom’s treatment, it would mean so much to us. Every donation helps us continue saying yes to dogs who need us.
