Nine Hundred Miles Back — Texas Woodworking Festival Recap
A bittersweet year at the Texas Woodworking Festival: Makers MedKit next door, the Systainer Store in our corner, the Purple Heart Project across the aisle, and a Dash-Board nobody could move.
SYS-ORG half-height bins keep smalls within reach without digging, and they seat directly in M89 and L89 Systainers so a tipped or dropped case stays organized. In our shop, sky blue means metric, red means imperial, and a yellow latch marks the case for construction screws and anchors. The bit channel bin keeps the specialty bit riding with the fastener that needs it.

The SYS-FIT HCH keeps your dust extractor hose and tool cord off the bench and out of the way while you work. Mount it to the front of a Systainer, a French cleat wall, or anywhere on your bench, either screwed straight to the surface or with SYS-PLT.

The MRC and FCE clamp racks give your track clamps a place to live. The MRC holds standard guide rail clamps, and the FCE holds Element clamps. Mount either one to a French cleat wall, screw it to your bench, or adapt it to any surface with SYS-PLT, then drop the clamp in and you're ready to go.

Small batch work means a lot of different fasteners, and not a lot of any one fastener. Drop an M4 or M5 into a full-size bin, and you're doing chopstick fingers to get it back out. Half-height bins fix that. Same footprint, double the storage capacity across fastener variety.
