Last week, members of the PRAXIS3 team visited Metromont Corporation’s precast concrete facility in Hiram, Georgia, for an in-depth look at the manufacturing process behind precast systems.

The tour provided valuable insight into fabrication, detailing, quality control, transportation, and installation logistics, while showcasing the wide range of products and finishes available through precast construction. It was also an opportunity to see Metromont’s newest batch plant and learn more about the facility’s planned production expansion.

Thank you to the Metromont team for hosting us and sharing their expertise. Experiences like these help strengthen our understanding of the materials and systems that bring our designs to life.

Joesph and Abby both recently completed their fourth year at KSU, and this is Joseph’s third summer with PRAXIS3. We’re excited to have both of them on the team this summer.

As comes to a close, PRAXIS3 architect Jason Swichtenberg is sharing his perspective on the role preservation plays in shaping stronger communities. Jason is the Volunteer Chair of the City of Avondale Estates Historic Preservation Commission, and recently attended the Atlanta Regional Commission’s Community Planning Academy.

PRAXIS3 joined West Georgia Technical College in celebrating the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Stanley H. Bressner Industrial Technology Building at the Murphy Campus.

The new facility will support WGTC’s Commercial Truck Driving, Electrical Lineworker, and Welding programs and features a 40-booth welding lab with state-of-the-art equipment, classrooms, community space, and a new CDL range designed to support hands-on learning and workforce development across West Georgia.

We’re proud to have partnered on a project that will help fuel innovation, education, and future career pathways for students and the surrounding community.

Recently recognized by IIDA Georgia Chapter with a 2026 Best of the Best Award, Shop – Best of Retail, Mercedes-Benz of Atlanta South is a 103,000 SF flagship dealership in Atlanta, GA that redefines the automotive retail experience, blurring the line between showroom, hospitality, and luxury retail environments.

Key features include an expansive double-height showroom with a curved glass envelope, a sculptural glass stair, and elevated customer amenity spaces, including a café, two-level lounge, and exterior multi-functional rooftop terrace. Behind the customer-facing areas, the facility also integrates expanded service operations, EV infrastructure, and training environments to support dealership performance and staff development.

Together, the design balances brand expression with operational efficiency across all program areas, creating a cohesive and memorable experience for both visitors and staff.

On this Memorial Day, PRAXIS3 reflects with gratitude and respect for the service members who gave their lives in defense of our country. We honor their sacrifice and recognize the lasting impact it has on the communities and freedoms we experience every day.

Recently, PRAXIS3’s Amanda Miller led the team on a historical walking tour of the Sweet Auburn Historic District.

Amanda guided us through more than 15 sites, sharing the history and significance of the neighborhood’s buildings, landmarks, and the people who inhabited, built, and worked within them—many of whom played important roles in the Civil Rights Movement. We’re fortunate to have our office located near such a landmark Atlanta district.
