Community input and feedback is a crucial part of the planning and design process. Thank you for taking the time to participate!

At 3.92 miles long, this is one of PATH's busiest trails. Mostly pedestrians utilize this facility for walking, jogging, walking their dogs, and socializing. The trail has a couple of hills but otherwise is an easy walk.

There are two loops to enjoy; one around the golf course and another north of Galloway School, the amphitheatre and the playground. Both are pedestrian heavy with few cyclists around.

PATH proudly remembers the life of Bill Fowler who served as our chairman of the board for over 25 years. Bill was an original PATH board member whose leadership helped build the first trails to welcome the world to Atlanta for the 1996 Olympic games. Bill was a strong supporter of continuing the vision to build trails for all of Georgia far beyond the Olympics. He recognized trails not only connected communities, but also influenced the quality of life for everyone. His affliction with Multiple Sclerosis never stopped him from visiting the construction sites or participating in the many ribbon cutting events over the years. Bill’s positive spirit and passion to serve others is what made him so unique. PATH may have lost a longstanding board member but his “Never Better” spirit and leadership continues to be a cornerstone for the PATH Foundation.

🌳 About: This trail system works because users are mostly tourists on beach crusiers who don't go fast and are courteous to those they encounter. The trail is narrow and not built to PATH standards therefore caution is advised.

The City of Winder welcomes you to the Wilkins Greenway, a paved, creekside multi-use trail.🌳

This segment of the trail, from Lee Street to the Fort Yargo Visitor Center, was built by Winder in partnership with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, the Georgia Outdoor Stewardship Program and the PATH Foundation.
