North Point Hospitality is proud to recognize several team members who were honored at the Tourism Leadership Council’s (TLC) Tourism Awards & Scholarship Dinner held March 5 at the Savannah Convention Center.

Tiffany Carter, Front Desk Supervisor at Homewood Suites by Hilton Savannah Historic District, received the Service Star Award for Best Front Desk Employee in recognition of her exceptional dedication to guest service.

Two additional North Point Hospitality team members were nominated for Service Star Awards:
• Mayra Cavalheiro, Lead Bartender at Lavender Rooftop Kitchen + Bar – Best Server
• Juan Yesquen, Engineer at Homewood Suites and AC Hotel Savannah Historic District – Best Support Staff

In addition, Rick Morris, Director of Operations for Homewood Suites and AC Hotel Savannah Historic District, was presented with the TLC President’s Award, recognizing his positive impact on Savannah’s hospitality community and his commitment to ensuring every guest experience is exceptional.

We are proud of these team members and grateful for their continued dedication to delivering outstanding hospitality in Savannah.

🎃 Spreading Halloween Cheer at Memorial Health University! 🍬

Last week, members of our Savannah team had the joy of taking part in Memorial Health University Medical Center's annual Reverse Trick-or-Treat, where community members come together to bring candy and smiles to children spending Halloween in the hospital.

While these young patients couldn’t join in traditional trick-or-treating, their courage, laughter, and creativity filled the halls with true Halloween spirit. 🧡

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Front Office Manager for our new AC Hotel by Marriott Savannah Historic District, opening early 2025. This role is responsible for assisting in the overall management of Front Office Operations, including maintaining appropriate staffing levels at all times, coaching, counseling and developing the Front Office staff, responding to guest needs and upholding the Guest Service Principles in all matters.

We are having a fantastic sales strategy meeting with our Nashville team at Thistle Farms!

Both our Nashville and Savannah teams were out bright and early volunteering and supporting their communities.

Our Nashville attended Walk Bike Nashville’s Walk to School Day at Shwab Elementary. Walk Bike Nashville is dedicated to working towards a more walkable, bikeable, and livable Nashville. Our Nashville team took pride in encouraging metro students to use active transportation such as walking and biking.

In Savannah, our team volunteered alongside The Savannah Downtown Business Association and community members for Broughton Street’s second cleanup. The SDBA works with the Savannah community to clean up the downtown area in pristine condition.

North Point Hospitality takes great pride in giving back to the communities in which they reside.

The Savannah Downtown Business Association and several members in the community helped beautify Broughton Street. Our Savannah sales team, general managers, housekeeping, guest service, human resources, and accounting managers spent their morning cleaning up Broughton Street. Despite the heat, our team took pride in helping to keep Savannah clean. This marked the start of a recurring event to keep Downtown clean for locals and visitors alike!

North Point teamed up with Fight Dirty Tybee for the second time during our mid-corporate retreat for a beach cleanup. Fight Dirty is Tybee Island's grassroots anti-litter campaign dedicated to providing a healthy beach environment. Fight Dirty Tybee is also committed to finding innovative and effective ways to reduce beach trash.

Our team spent the afternoon collecting bottles, plastic debris, trash, and cigarette butts. North Point Hospitality had a great time coming together and helping !

North Point Hospitality volunteered at a local food bank, Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, which is one of the largest and most comprehensive of more than 200 food banks and food distribution centers nationwide. Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee aims to provide food to people facing hunger and work to advance hunger solutions.
