TALICA is The Teaching and Learning Initiative for Central America. TALICA
To date, TALICA has served 1,300 impoverished children in Central America.
We are dedicated to bringing books and information to rural impoverished regions of Central America. Since the summer of 2006, TALICA has supplied over 4500 books to two community libraries and seven schools in rural Guatemala and Nicaragua. TALICA also provides much needed school supplies (such as globes, maps and materials to build book shelves) to approximately 80 educators in these developing nations.
