Mental health matters every month, not just May. 💜
Checking in on yourself, slowing down, getting outside, talking to someone you trust - the little things really do matter.
We’re grateful to be part of a community that reminds people they’re never alone.

It is estimated that 1 in 4 people struggle with mental health every day. With a quarter of all people suffering, Crawfish for a Cause wants to remind you that you are not alone.
While there is strength in perseverance, you do not have to struggle in silence. Find your people, reach out when you're in need and remember that self-care is never selfish.
If you are struggling. call or text the National Crisis Line at 988 or reach out to the Crisis Text Line by texting "HOME" to 741741.

Crawfish for a Cause is proud to announce that we will be making a $20,000 donation to Hillside this year! Hillside is an Atlanta-based nonprofit providing mental health treatment for children and adolescents.
Music can help young people process emotions, reduce stress, strengthen social connection, and express experiences that may be difficult to put into words. This donation will fund Hillside’s Experiential Therapies, and expand opportunities for kids to engage with music in meaningful and therapeutic ways.
Long term, our goal is to support Hillside’s music enrichment activities like building an instrument library, hosting music camps, producing performances, and funding ongoing programming that allows kids to use music as a positive outlet.
We are extremely grateful for the partnership, and look forward to supporting Hillside’s clients with music-based programming!
In addition to our donation to Hillside, we will also be donating $2,000 to Nuçi's Space in Athens, GA and $2,000 to Backline Care in Nashville, TN who each offer mental health resources for local musicians and their families as well as a $1,000 donation to All Souls Counseling Center in Asheville, NC.
Finally we'd like to thank everyone who came out to Mental Awakening as well as our satellite events over the past year! Because of you we are able to put on events that are not only fun but that have a real impact in our communities.
Thank you and we'll see you soon!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there and all the women who have filled that role in someone’s life.
A mother isn’t always defined by blood. Sometimes it’s the woman who showed up for you, supported you, guided you, checked in on you, believed in you, or simply made you feel loved and safe when you needed it most.
Today is for the mothers, grandmothers, mentors, role models, bonus moms, and all the women who have been a source of strength, love, and support for others. Thank you for everything you do.

💚May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚
At Crawfish for a Cause, we believe showing up for each other matters just as much as anything else. Take a moment to check in on your people, spread a little kindness, and don’t forget to take care of yourself too.
Good music and good food bring us together, but it wouldn’t be the same without you here. Our DMs are always open.
