This weekend I needed some relief and served up some heavy self-care remedies. I’m talking visits from friends, dinner date with one of my besties, progressive transformative convos with some clients, gifts from the Lord, space to grieve and release, and some incredible Apple Caramel Cheesecake!!! Then today topped it off with a fun and sweat worthy workout 🏋🏾‍♀️! My barber even was able to fit me in because a sister was looking rough lol!

Anyways, my heart is full, God is good!
In every season there’s a reason to grateful! ❤️

Be honest… Thanksgiving was fun and joyous, but it was also a lot. In fact it can be quite draining. A lot of us woke up today mentally exhausted from those conversations, comments, and “why would you even say that?” moments.

It’s okay.
Family can be beautiful.
Family can also be… a lot.

But heading into December doesn’t have to feel like emotional survival mode.

I built the Boundaries & Bliss workshop to help high achieving women like you:
🍂 reset after a tough gathering
🍂 stop shrinking or over-explaining
🍂 set boundaries clearly and kindly
🍂 stay calm even when others aren’t

If you’re already bracing yourself for the next family event…
this workshop will give you the tools you’ve needed for years.

Let’s expand our capacity, reinforce those boundaries and plan our communication.

🧘🏾‍♀️ Monday Nourish

Need to Calm your mind? Then…
Meditate on what you know to be true.

The noise is real — the opinions, the pressure, the pace.
But under all of that… your soul still knows.
What if you didn’t start the week by striving?
What if you started by centering?

✨ The clarity you’re craving might not come from doing more…
It might come from being still long enough to remember.

👉🏾What truth do you need to return to this week?

🙏🏾Comment “STILL” if your soul needed this gentle reminder today.

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and depression can go hand-in-hand. Doctors sometimes call them comorbid or coexisting conditions, meaning you can have both at the same time.

ADHD is a brain disorder that makes it hard to focus. Children and adults who have it might have trouble finishing tasks, sitting still, or keeping track of things, appointments, or details.

Depression is more than just an occasional case of the blues. It’s deep sadness and despair you feel every day for at least 2 weeks at a time. It can make it hard to work, go to school, or sleep.

Up to 30% of children who have ADHD also have a serious mood disorder like depression. And some experts say that more than half of people who have the condition will get treatment for depression at some point in their lives.

Some symptoms of ADHD and depression are a lot alike, and that can make it tough to diagnose and treat those conditions. For example, trouble with focus is one of the signs of both depression and ADHD. And if you take medicines to help with your ADHD symptoms, they may affect your sleep or eating habits – both of which can be signs of depression, too. In children, hyperactivity and crankiness can be symptoms of depression as well as ADHD.

Also, ADHD can lead to depression when people have a hard time with their symptoms. Children may have trouble getting along in school or with playmates, or adults may have issues at work. That can lead to deep feelings of hopelessness and other signs of depression.

Doctors don’t know what causes either condition, but they both seem to be linked to your family history. People with depression or ADHD often have a parent or other family member who has it as well. (WebMD ❤️)

These are just a few of the lesser-known symptoms that MAY present in autism, and there are several more that could added, such as gastrointestinal issues, seizures, black/white thinking, and flat affect. Every individual is certainly unique and may or may not exhibit such traits. Can you think of other signs that may be present?

I don’t post on here nearly as much as I should. I just want to say keep going. Yeah, I know it’s hard, it’s challenging and people will never truly understand, but you STILL must apply the TRUTH to your Why and keep going.
Keep going doesn’t mean you shouldn’t Rest. Pauses are good and Resets are needed. It simply means let’s replace But with And as we continue no matter what. Take breaths and keep going. If you don’t you’ll never know what you were really capable of…🫶🏾
