This past Sunday, our Lithonia Center was full of warmth, laughter, and new furry friendships! We hosted a autism-friendly farm day made especially for children with autism, and it was such a joy to watch families connect, play, and make memories together.

Highlights included:
🐰 A petting zoo full of new furry friends
🎃 Pumpkin decorating station
🎨 Coloring station for quiet, creative moments
🍧 Kona Ice truck keeping everyone cool
✋ Sensory play activities throughout the day

🎉 Ribbon Cutting Day: Riverdale East Premier ABA Therapy Centre is NOW OPEN! 🎉

We're thrilled to share that we have officially cut the ribbon on our newest location, Riverdale East Premier ABA Therapy Centre! 💙✨

The celebration brought together our care team, and community partners, including representatives from the Mayor's office, who joined us to mark the occasion. Seeing so many familiar faces in one room said everything about what this community means to us. 💙

This new center means more room to welcome local children and families, with individualized support, one-on-one learning spaces, opportunities for peer connection, and a warm environment designed with comfort in mind.

As we open our doors at Riverdale East, our commitment stays the same: compassionate, family-centered ABA services that help children build meaningful skills at home, in school, and throughout their community. 💙

Love isn’t always expressed through big hugs, long conversations, or the words “I love you.”

Sometimes, it looks like sharing a favorite interest.
Sitting quietly together.
Reaching for a familiar hand.
Inviting someone into a carefully created routine, or saving them the best spot on the couch.

Autistic people may express affection in ways that are subtle, unexpected, or entirely their own. When we stop searching for one “right” expression of love, we begin to notice how much of it has been there all along.

Love doesn’t need to look typical to be deeply felt. 💙

Come meet some furry (and feathery) friends, plus kids enjoy free snacks, refreshments, and activities.

After recently opening our Riverdale East Premier ABA Therapy Center, we are so grateful to continue growing and expanding the support available to even more children and families. 🏡🤝

This new Lithonia center will be a warm, welcoming space where children can learn, grow, and feel supported in ways that honor their unique strengths. From individualized care to meaningful opportunities for connection, every detail is being prepared with children and families in mind. 💬

🦉 DIY: Pinecone Owl Craft🍂

Turn a simple pinecone into an adorable woodland friend! With felt wings, big eyes, and a tiny beak, kids can design an owl filled with personality while enjoying a fun fall crafting activity. ✨

✨ What you’ll need:

A pinecone Colored felt or construction paper Googly eyes or paper eyes Glue Child-safe scissors
A pencil Tongs or a cloth for handling the pinecone, if preferred

🦉 How to make it:
🍂 Choose a pinecone with enough space between its scales for adding decorations.
✏️ Draw and cut out two wings, two circles for the eyes, and a small triangle beak.
👀 Glue the eye circles onto the pinecone, then add the googly or paper eyes.
🧡 Attach the beak beneath the eyes and glue one wing onto each side.
✨ Add eyebrows, feet, feathers, or other decorations to give the owl its own personality.
⏳ Let the glue dry before displaying or playing with the new woodland friend! 💬

Keep the creativity going by asking:
“What colors should the owl’s wings be?”
“What expression does the owl have?”
“Where do you think the owl lives?”
“What name would you give it?”

💙 Cutting, placing, and gluing the small pieces supports fine-motor skills, hand-eye coordination, planning, and creative decision-making. The finished owl can also inspire storytelling, imaginative play, and conversations about emotions. For anyone who prefers not to touch the pinecone’s texture, tongs, gloves, or a cloth can make the activity more comfortable.
