During these trying times, it is important that we not lose sight of how we are dealing with our emotions. Grief is not just about the lost of a loved one; grief is much more. During COVID-19, we may be feeling that we have lost some of our "FREEDOM" the opportunity to share space with those we love, girls night out, employment, death of a loved one, etc. I encourage you to do what you can to keep your emotions in tact.
Here are some suggestions on how to deal with grief:
1. Acknowledge your pain
2. Accept that grief can trigger many different and unexpected emotions
3. Grieving will be unique to you ( don't judge your process)
4. Support yourself emotionally by taking care of your physical health
What to Know About the Five Stages of Grief If you are grieving the loss of a loved one, you may be going through one of the five stages of grief. Learn how to cope and how to offer your support to others.
