For sale: Rita Lee & Gilberto Gil / Refestança. 1977. Media VG, Sleeve VG.
Recorded live with Rita Lee’s band Tutti Frutti, this amazing album is a rendition of Glam Rock and Tropicalia sounds, after both Gil and Lee were arrested for drug possession in 1976. This record was a way to relaunch their professional careers after several performances in theaters across Brasil. Included here are ‘Domingo no Parque’, ‘E Proibido Fumar’, and a nice cover of The Beatles’ ‘Get Back’, called ‘De Leve’. 20 dollars shipped to al United States.
