"A Pocket Guide to Alabama Forest Health," is the 5th of 8 books in a series covering the southeastern U.S. (not pictured, Texas, Oklahoma). Mississippi is next, followed by Georgia, then Florida. It's been great to work with the FNR | Clemson Extension on this long-term project.

Being an East Side Athens business owner and Green Acres resident for the past 19 years is something I value highly. The neighborhoods and businesses that comprise the East Side (a matter of some debate, however, I'm more or less referring to the Gaines School-Barnett Shoals-College Station-Cedar Shoals corridors) are diverse and vibrant. Its residents take great pride in their "secret and yet-to-be-over-discovered" gem, complete with some of the coolest mid-century modern vibes in town.
