Born into slavery on October 29, 1837, Harriet Powers beacme a prominent folk artist with her quilts on display in the National Museum of American History and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. In honor of her birthday, we're taking inspiration from her traditional applique style and making a community quilt.

Calling all fall crafters! Have you started a new project and need yarn, thread, stickers, or something else? Or do you have extra supplies from your last project? Then our Fall Art & Craft Supply Swap is for you! Stop by the library on Saturday, October 10, from 10-1 and share some inspiration with your fellow crafters. No donation needed to participate.

The Bogart Library always has something fun going on! From book clubs to D&D games to storytimes for kids, you'll find plenty of reasons to come for a visit.

The Oconee County Library is always a joy to visit! Even while they're in the middle of an expansion, they've got so many things to see and do. Come record some music or a podcast, join friends at Fan Fest, or get creative during a Crafternoon!

Beyond their collection of books, the Oglethorpe County Library is a great place to do local history research or make crafts! Drop by to use the microfilm reader, get creative at the Creation Station, or enjoy a book club discussion.
