When I have to be in two places at once, I’m thankful for FaceTime, friends who get it and step in, and parents who are willing to stay up past midnight to make sure Suzie gets home.
And one of the great bonuses of dating a guy from another school? You get to go to TWO Homecoming dances!
So, I’ll catch the second HOCO dance. 💃🏻

You don’t realize how fast time goes until a monumental day arrives. Today, it’s the start of Suzie’s senior year.
I’m glad we’ve been afforded the opportunity to be there every step of the way… from class field trips to school dances and everything in between.
We moved to Athens 10 years ago, trusting God that this is what we were supposed to do. We gained a school and church community that have been such instrumental partners in the development of our kids.
How am I feeling today having a senior? Sad, excited, proud and extremely grateful.
What’s that adage about saying something often enough that it becomes truth? Or something like that.
