UGA Design lost one of our own last week… former Head of Design and Lighting Professor, Rich Dunham passed suddenly from a brief illness. Our heartfelt condolences goes out to his family Joelle Re Arp Dunham. Please consider a donation to his memorial scholarship.. link in bio.

A major highlight of our journey to Greece was having our students perform the opening monologue from The Bacchae in the orchestra of the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus (with special permission ) Our tour was lead by the knowledgeable archeologist Dr. Maria Mikedaki of the University of the Peloponnese. A part of the healing complex was also the Sanctuary of Asclepius at Epidaurus. The Ancient Greeks established the need to heal body and soul thru medicine and theatre.

Nothing finer than spending the July 4th weekend seeing LIVE theatre where democracy began in Greece! Our first 2 shows at the : Persians at Epidaurus and a new work, Mothers: A Song for Wartime at the Urban (little) theatre of Epidaurus
