UGA’s Ballroom Performance Group is proud to present the first ever Dancing With the UGA Stars! Eight celebrity students, our stars, have worked one-on-one with a ballroom dancer throughout the semester to put together some exciting and action-filled acts. Join us for a night of awesome dances, a panel of expert judges, and the chance to vote for your favorite couple!!

April 24th at 7:30 pm in the UGA Dance Theatre. Tickets are $18 at pac.uga.edu. We’ll see you there, and may the best star win!

Get ready to dance this Friday, April 17th!! There will be a FREE foxtrot lesson from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm and open social dance from 8:00 pm to 10:30 pm. Thank you to Ella and Jackson for teaching!

This week you can find us at Ramsey Student Center in Studio D. No membership is required to get into the building. Dance tickets are $3 for students and $5 general admission. Feel free to DM with any questions!

Auditions are coming up fast! Make sure you’re prepared by attending our audition workshop on Sunday, March 29th. This will be held in the Carver studio of the UGA Dance Building from 12 pm to 2 pm.

We will go over all three styles you need to know: Cha Cha, East Coast Swing, and Waltz. This will be a great chance to dance with current members, ask questions, and get tips!

Please note that this floor is not suitable for dance heels or street shoes, and you must bring socks or jazz shoes to dance in.

If you’re interested in becoming a member of the Ballroom Performance Group, you’re in luck, because auditions are going to be here before you know it!

On Monday, March 30th, we will be hosting auditions in the Carver studio of the UGA Dance Building. Participants will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in Cha Cha, Waltz, and East Coast Swing. We will begin promptly at 6:30 pm, so make sure to arrive by 6 pm to get ready.

Please note that auditions will be held on a floor not suitable for dance heels or street shoes! You must bring socks or jazz shoes to dance in.

Looks like somebody wished upon a star because we’re back for a super special waltz lesson this Friday, March 20th! There will be a FREE lesson 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Disney-themed social dance from 8:00 pm to 10:30 pm. Feel free to dress up as your favorite character and join the party! Shout out to teachers Sage and Jaxon!

This is the very last dance in our audition series! That means if you’re interested in joining BPG, now is the time to come brush up on your audition skills.
