I’m so lucky that my work sometimes includes outdoor picnics and doctor visits, all before 9am.

Today I got a check in the mail from BCBS for 3 sessions from October, 2021. TWO full years later. If you wonder why small practices are not taking BCBS any longer, this is why. Without a full-time administrative position to bill and track down payment, we cannot afford to just trust the process.

What does a therapist do between sessions? For me it looks something like this. Quickbooks, prepare a presentation, email someone I met at a conference this weekend, notes for an E-course, open mail, clean up art materials from last session.
