Year 2 of History, Design, and the Museum in DC, which I co-direct with Monica Sklar, is coming to a close. We have visited so many fabulous sites and heard from many fantastic and generous museum professionals. Definitely got our steps in.

We’re hiring for a full-time gallery guide position. These front-line employees help make sure our visitors have a safe and enjoyable experience. They may be stationed in the galleries, in the Museum Shop or at the desk in the lobby to welcome guests and check them in.

This is a full-time, 40-hour-a-week position that includes full University of Georgia benefits (including health insurance). It requires a high school diploma or equivalent and pays $35,200 to $36,500 (commensurate with experience). We hope to have someone start by June 1.
