Equipping a community to release Heaven on Earth. The Awakening is a group of people who are on a quest to experience the authentic gospel of Jesus Christ.
It is our heart to see people awakened to the reality of God’s love and goodness for them. We want to raise up a radical army of believers living an abandoned lifestyle of deep intimacy with Jesus, producing a transformed life where the miraculous is normal, destinies are fulfilled and the world is revolutionized by the Kingdom of God.
This past Sunday, we looked at the story of Essau and how God calls us to look past immediate gratification, and keep eternity in focus for all of our decisions.
When things get uncomfortable, it’s easy to stop trusting God and to retreat from his promises, but just like Joshua, God calls us to stand firm and trust him. You can listen to the full sermon on our website.
We can’t wait to worship with you tomorrow @ 10AM at the Wesley Chapel.
As we grow together as a church, one of our goals is to meditate on scripture together. Romans 12:16 is a great reminder of the attitude Christ calls us to.

This past Sunday, Jessica shared on the importance of strengthening ourselves in the Lord when we are in comfortable seasons so that we can step into hard seasons, knowing that God has our back. She shared from Esther, and pointed out how Esther despite her comfortable situation, stepped into God’s calling to advocate for His people even when it put her in danger. In a similar way, there will be times when we are called to get uncomfortable and stand up for truth. In order to be ready for those seasons we need to be willing to get uncomfortable now. In order to run with horses, we have to learn to run with men.
