She moves with reverence, knowing her womb is a sacred chamber, her breath a prayer, her presence a ceremony.

She says “no” with strength and “yes” with sovereignty. And as the moon rises, she closes the day the way she began it—with devotion.
A bath. A journal. A sip of tea.

Richard Claxton Gregory (October 12, 1932 – August 19, 2017)

In 1973, Dick Gregory published “Dick Gregory’s Natural Diet for Folks Who Eat: Cookin’ with Mother Nature.” To illustrate the adverse effects of soul food, he challenged Blacks to look at the health conditions in the Black community:
"Count the bloated stomachs, the bald heads, the varicose veins, the swollen ankles. Listen to the complaints of high blood pressure, heart trouble, nervous tension, etc. All of these result from heavy starch consumption, cooked food, greasy fried food consumption, and sugar and salt consumption".

Dick Gregory's Natural Diet for Folks Who Eat: Cookin' With Mother Nature was written after becoming a vegetarian. Dick Gregory was mentored by Grand Master Natural Healer N.D Ph.D. Alvenia M. Fulton, Known as the "Queen of Nutrition."

Tell our children...Start doing. Stop talking so much.

We all have turning points in our lives. The problem is we often never notice them until they are in our rearview mirror. Every intersection has many roads you can go down and several options and possibilities. You just have to pick the right road. And in this period, the decision must be made quickly.

Therefore...Sow your seeds. There is no harvest to reap if you have not sowed...The great oak tree is in the small singular acorn. Everything that you will ever be is already in you.

You are the acorn of the future oak tree. And the best people to be around are people who see the tree in you while you're still an acorn seed. But you must rehearse in darkness for years without applause. Practice quietly. Invest the time and effort. Stop taking shortcuts. Rehearse. Work on your life and master your craft.
You see so many of our people taking shortcuts, talking as if it were equivalent to doing, regurgitating as if they have applied mastery, talking about master teachers and scholars, and never passing any tests or finishing anything.
Trying to be the Mistro orchestrating at a recital while your life is still in a rehearsal stage.
