This product is designed for those times that you need to drill outside the dial ring. It eliminates the need to match the paint color and finish of the safe. Just repair your hole as usual, with welding or a hardened pin and sand it smooth. But you can forget about painting. Just Install one of these plates under the dial ring and reinstall the lock.
