Today was an exciting and long-awaited day for me and my management client, Stephane Wrembel. We finally released the first single from his upcoming triptych out in mid-April.
"Ecce Homo" is a new composition by Stephane, setting the stage for the triptych, Phase I, II, and III. These 3 recordings showcase Stephane's stellar band (Ari Folman-Cohen, Josh Kaye, Nick Anderson, and Nick Driscoll) along with Canadian pianist Jean-Michel Pilc….all amazing musicians! As Fiona Bloom would say...off the chain!
Translating to "Here is the Man" in Latin, "Ecce Homo" serves as a triumphant overture heralding the excellence that awaits across this three-album journey.
Personally, I love it! And I hope you will relax, turn it up, listen and enjoy.
Many of you not in the music biz would assume releasing a single
(or albums) in the digital world these days would be easy, or easier, but not really. Trust me, a whole lot of work is required. A special thanks to my French partner in all things Stephane, Alexandre Rebiere. And to my old friend, Rob Cohen, for all the help with our promotional videos.

Thanks to Hal Horowitz for this critic's pick in Creative Loafing for Socks in the Frying Pan at City Winery in Atlanta on Tuesday, March 19th.
CRITIC’S PICK: Just missing St. Patrick’s Day, this traditional Irish trio (guitar/fiddle/accordion) still exude the kind of unhinged energy The Pogues used to bring, albeit without a frontman quite as magnetic, or shambolic, as Shane MacGowan. Regardless, they have won multiple awards for live performances and toured the world bringing their “Socks Sound” to the masses. It’s a guaranteed party, especially if you kick away those chairs and dance.
I will be at the show, hopefully with my partner-in-crime, Fiona Bloom, in tow. Let me know if you can join me!
PS-There will never be another frontman like Shane MacGowan but still love the reference to The Pogues!!
