Big news internet Sangha!
-we’ll be returning to weekly in-person sitting next weekend(!)

is kind enough to host us in their spacious choral building across the street from on Prince Ave starting this coming Sunday (8/8). Heart Sutra and Merit service to start promptly at 8:30am followed by a couple periods of that good ol’ zazen and a Dharma conversation afterwards! Please see our Insta Story for service details and schedule (hint: it’s the same schedule ;D )
We’ll be masking up and will have plenty of room for all to sit at a comfortable distance 😎

Hello Instagram Sangha 👋(!)

This shot by Delene is similar to our last post (many moons ago in internet age haha) and reflects the changing seasons of our Zazenkais at the Botanical Gardens this past year.
Taken back in March in the Heritage Garden section, we sat in the “mountain-still state” alongside birdsong and the beautiful forsythia blooms

Afterwards, Suzi shared a brief Dharma talk with us using Mary Ellen Solt’s concrete poem, “Forsythia” as a jumping off point:
