Load edges can quickly damage synthetic slings, so it is important to protect them.

The CornerMax® Sleeve is designed to provide industry-leading cut protection when a traditional CornerMax Pad isn't practical. Ideal for applications with limited edge clearance or repetitive lifting operations like lifting concrete, the CornerMax Sleeve delivers unmatched protection with a cut resistance rating of 25,000 pounds per inch of sling width.

Made from high-tech fibers and laboratory tested for cut resistance, the CornerMax Sleeve helps extend sling life while allowing synthetic slings to be used in applications that were once dominated by chain, wire rope, and metal mesh slings. In some applications, the sleeve can even be attached directly to the sling to prevent movement between lifts.

Protect your slings. Improve efficiency. Lift with confidence.

A crew with Kiewit Corporation put the Helix® Synthetic Roundsling to work during a directional drilling operation, supporting a 20’ section of 30” diameter, ½” thick steel pipe weighing 10,000 pounds

Using a 20ft Helix roundsling, the pipe was securely supported while crews welded this section onto the previous run—keeping the load stable, protected, and properly controlled throughout the process.

Designed for demanding applications, Helix roundslings deliver high strength, low weight, and load protection where precision and safety matter most.

When space is limited but the lift demands strength, Helix® High Performance Roundslings deliver.

Engineered with K‑Spec® high‑performance core fiber, Helix roundslings provide exceptional capacity with less than 1% elongation—all in a narrow, lightweight profile built for tight hardware and confined lift points. The USA‑braided HMPE jacket protects the load‑bearing core from abrasion and chemicals, while integrated Rifled Cover Technology increases strength and reduces sling weight and width.

From turbine to transformer lifts, Helix is built for precision, durability, and confidence when space is tight.

As the Artemis II mission continues to redefine the limits of human spaceflight, Slingmax® and Twin‑Path® synthetic roundslings remain part of the groundwork that helped make the mission possible. Trusted during mission‑critical handling of the Orion spacecraft during testing operations, Twin‑Path slings supported precision lifting operations over the Pacific Ocean.

The Artemis II crew surpassed the record set by Apollo 13 in 1970 for the farthest humans have ever traveled from Earth. NASA has confirmed the mission profile places astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen at a maximum distance of 252,757 miles from our planet as they travel around the Moon.

From critical ground handling to deep‑space exploration, advanced rigging solutions play an essential role in enabling historic achievements.

A flashback to November 2018, when Twin‑Path® Slings were used during the lifting of the sixth and final water runner Barnhart Crane and Rigging transported for a Michigan hydroelectric power plant project that began in 2013.

Each water runner weighed 272.2 tonnes and arrived from Shanghai by heavy‑lift vessel before moving by hopper barge to the site. Twin‑Path Slings supported controlled, balanced handling during staging under a gantry crane, helping protect these large, precision‑machined components and supporting safe ex*****on of a complex heavy‑lift operation.
