Memorial Day is a time to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. ❤️💙

𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲: Our office will be closed on Monday, May 25 for Memorial Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, May 26 with regular hours.

This week we’re celebrating the amazing nurses in our office and all the care, patience, and comfort they provide to our patients and families every day. Whether it’s calming nervous kiddos, answering endless questions, or helping parents feel a little more at ease, our nurses do so much behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly.

We’re incredibly thankful for them — and for the entire team that works together to take care of our families each day!

Today we celebrate National Doctors’ Day and want to recognize the heart behind our practice — Dr. Miller.

🩷 We are honored to sponsor Stride for Sophia's upcoming 5K Run honoring the memory of this precious young girl. This event is not only a celebration of her life, but also a powerful opportunity to raise awareness about mental health in our youth and teenagers.

Mental health matters — especially for our children and teens. As a pediatric practice, we see firsthand how vital emotional well-being is to a child’s overall health. Supporting mental health is not optional — it is essential.

We invite our patients, families, and community members to come out this Saturday to join us in walking or running to:

We had to jump on the bandwagon and let ai turn us into cartoon caricatures. Feeling a little bit like a Disney character now.

📣 🎉 We are excited to announce that Randi Countryman will be joining our practice as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner beginning February 2!

Randi is a graduate of Arab High School and earned her Bachelor degree in Nursing from Jacksonville State University. She worked in the NICU at Children's of Alabama for over three years while completing her Master's degree as a Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner through UAB.

Randi and her husband, Brayden, have a 5-month old son, Tate, and a golden retriever named Honey. They enjoy spending time with their family and trips to the lake and the beach.

Roads are very wet after all of the rain. With temps dropping and expected to be in the teens tonight, we anticipate roads being very icy in the morning.

We do not want to risk anyone's safety, therefore we are going to delay opening until noon tomorrow and will re-evaluate road conditions mid-morning as to whether we can safely open or if we will remain closed all day.

We will be reaching out to re-schedule all affected appointments.

Kids R Us Pediatrics is closed on Thursday, January 1 in observance of the New Year as we reflect on 2025 and look forward to 2026 with hope and excitement. We will return to normal office hours on Friday, January 2.
