For those who don’t know, I single-handedly created a DVD series called *The Future of Graffiti*. There were 3 DVDs total, and it’s been 20 years since the first one dropped.

These DVDs had a ton of bonus footage. I was lucky enough to paint with and document some of the most iconic graffiti writers ever. From interviews to just sitting down and drawing for the camera, they really made the project what it was. To this day, I honestly haven’t seen a DVD or video that matches the caliber of what I put together back then. As a graffiti fan, it was a dream project.

Fast forward to now — 21 years later. I’ve had these HDV tapes sitting around all this time. I lost one box somewhere along the way, but I still have another box full of old DV tapes. I finally decided it was time to capture them and start releasing some of the uncut footage.

You’re going to see a lot that never made it onto the DVDs because of its file size limits back then.

This is just a small glimpse of what I’ve been dealing with trying to revive old video gear. The camera was acting unreliably for months. I finally got the camera working correctly and feel like if it happens again I know what to do to fix it. That happened today (which is wild), and I even managed to fix a ripped HDV tape (also another current/future win).
