Know Before You Light!

Planning your upcoming celebrations? We want everyone in the Town of Grand Chute to have a fun, memorable, and safe time. To keep our neighborhoods safe, please keep these important local fireworks guidelines in mind:

Yes, you can buy and sell! It is completely legal to purchase and sell consumer fireworks within Grand Chute. Permissible items include: Sparklers, smoke bombs, and small ground novelties.

Town rules strictly prohibit the lighting, discharging, or igniting of any fireworks that project into the air or explode. No bottle rockets, mortar shells, Roman candles, or loud aerial displays without a permit.

Planning a public gathering or large exhibition? You can apply for a special permit through the Town Clerk, which requires approval from the Town Fire Department to ensure all safety precautions are met.

Be Mindful of Your Neighbors! Loud noises and sudden bright flashes can be incredibly stressful for many members of our community. Please be considerate of: Pets & Animals, Young Children, Neighbors with sensory sensitivities or PTSD.

Let’s work together to make it a safe, respectful, and happy celebration for everyone in Grand Chute! πŸŽ†
