From now on sunless glow lounge will only be open from 4:30pm-8pm Monday - Thursday & 4:30pm-7:30pm Fridays. As I have started a new full time job! If there are any questions/concerns or if you’re wanting an earlier time than what’s listed message me and I can be flexible and get you in on a weekend day! I hope all my existing clients & new clients understand as I am trying my best to do as many spray tans and work a normal job. I truly appreciate everyone still keeping me booked and choosing me as your spray tan artist, & as always if your new I am so glad your here!!

What is DHA in Tanning Solutions?

DHA (Dihydroxyacetone) is the active ingredient in most sunless tanning solutions. It’s a colorless sugar derived from natural sources such as sugar beets and sugar cane. DHA works by reacting with the amino acids in the outermost layer of your skin, creating a temporary brown pigment that gives the appearance of a natural-looking tan.

This reaction only affects the dead skin cells on the surface of your skin, which is why a spray tan is temporary. As your skin naturally exfoliates and sheds those dead skin cells, the tan gradually fades over 5–10 days.

DHA does not pe*****te into the deeper layers of the skin, and it does not protect you from UV rays. Even with a spray tan, it’s important to wear sunscreen when spending time outdoors.

The final color of a spray tan develops over several hours, with full results typically appearing within 8–24 hours, depending on the formula. Proper preparation before your appointment and good aftercare such as moisturizing daily and avoiding harsh exfoliants help ensure an even, longer-lasting tan.
