Happy Heavenly Birthday! The overweight lover was one of a kind.

His last tweet, posted the night before he died, was two words: "BE INSPIRED!"

Heavy D had just flown back from London, where he performed at a Michael Jackson tribute concert. The long flight home formed a blood clot in his leg. He never knew it was there.

On November 8, 2011, he collapsed walking into his building after a shopping trip. He was 44.

The BET crowd that night in October had gone crazy for the Overweight Lover. Nobody in that building knew they were watching a goodbye.

Happy birthday, Heavy. Mount Vernon still feels you.
