Congratulations to Joshua, Marcus, and Xavier on sweeping the podium at the 2026 SkillsUSA state competition!!! Joshua will go on to compete in Atlanta for the national title in June! This is the second year in a row that the FVTC automotive program students have swept the podium at state!!

Spring 2026 semester is now underway and the students are already deep into learning all things Automotive.
Last week marked an exciting milestone for our Import Engine Mechanical students — the completion of their TOYOTA 3UR engine assemblies! After weeks of meticulous work, precision measurements, and teamwork, the engines were finally ready to come to life.
To wrap up the project, students mounted their completed engine on the run stand to test performance and functionality. This week’s sessions have been all about seeing (and hearing!) the results of their hard work in action.
There’s nothing quite like the moment an engine fires up for the first time — a perfect reward for the dedication and effort our students put into mastering their craft.
