This Mother’s Day, I just want to say thank you for everything you do for our family and our business. You truly keep our world running.
You manage our home with so much care — the cooking, cleaning, and endless driving for our girls. You show up as a strong, loving mom to our Girls every single day. At the same time, you’re at the gym five times a week for over a decade, taking care of yourself while handling it all.

On the business side, you crush every design and selection meeting and still track every single penny that moves through the company. I honestly don’t know how you do it all, but I’m endlessly grateful that you do.
You’re the heart of our family and the backbone of our business. I love you more than words can say.

Highland House Progress!
- Masons are doing a beautiful job setting the stone.
- Concrete guys just poured the garage with 4 drains in it. It’s harder than one would think to get perfect.
- Plaster guys finished the wall board and have begun finishing the walls!

Rough ins are complete on the top two floors and insulation is underway!
Masons are starting on the exterior too.

Highland House has been moving along at a very intentional pace.
-Framing is wrapped on the top two floors.
-Roofing is almost done.
-The basement is now thawed and warm.
-Tubing is in for the basement floor hydronic heating!

Right now is the time in a new build where it’s very easy to get overwhelmed by all the decisions that need to be made.
Remember… this process is supposed to be fun!!
Sometimes the answer is to slow down and pay attention to the details.
