Arthur Plamann began this family farm, now in its third generation of family ownership. Art bought the first of three farms in the 1920s. He was an innovator and creative thinker when it came to farming. He owned the area’s first tractor and saw the potential in new ways of farming. We were excited to host over 150 fourth graders from Greenville Elementary School today! The farm tour wraps up the Adventures in Dairyland program students have been participating in where they learn about the important role agriculture plays in our world.

Over the past 26 years, Plamann Farms has welcomed nearly 10,000 students (and many parents too!) from local schools to see first-hand where their milk comes from and learn more about life on our family farm. Being able to share this with them is one of our most favorite things to do!

Adam Eisenhauer's Obituary on Appleton Post-Crescent 08/23/2013

This world lost an extraordinary man earlier this week. Ike was a longtime friend of the Plamann family. Whether he was making the trip to Seymour to help us pack up on the last day of the fair, getting a jab in at Larry over his choice of Co-Op or, most recently, showing up in the middle of the night to assist after the tornado...he truly was a blessing to our family, always there to lend a helping hand. We will greatly miss that huge smile and hearty laugh. Rest in peace, Ike.
