Do you or your clients struggle because of attachment wounds? Adult children who experienced childhood neglect and disconnect (and/or abuse) often feel isolated and deal with perfectionism, negative thinking and compulsions. Furthermore, love and joy may feel outside their frame of acceptance.

This Workshop includes:
· An easy-to-teach & accessible meditation practice
· How to respect Protector/Manager Parts
· Emotion Mapping ©
· Addressing: Is it okay to use physical touch
· Grounding visualizations
· Secure attachment evaluation
· Vagus nerve exercises, and
· Two simple attachment integrations.

These tools are helpful during frontloading to help a client settle in, or during backloading to integrate what occurred. Taking into consideration the core principles of BSP (such as the Uncertainty Principle, NeuroExperiential Attunement & "staying in the tail of the comet") you will learn attachment integrations and practice your Brainspotting skills in practicums both days.

👉 No, you do not have to be familiar with yoga to join.

👉You will not be “doing yoga poses” during this workshop—yoga therapy is the subtle practice of sensing and deepening relationship to the body through non-linear, free-movement. You can do this workshop completely seated the entire time if you choose to, and still gain a tremendous amount of information on how to bring the body into your brainspotting sessions!

👉 This workshop was approved for 6 CE’s (yay)! And runs 9-5pm MDT on Sept 12th!

👉 You will be guided through group yoga therapy practices + Brainspotting to feel it, and we will also have time to practice in breakout groups to play with it and make it your own style!

👉 This workshop is for Brainspotting professionals who have taken at least level 1 Brainspotting. If you are a therapist who has not taken Brainspotting yet, you can still join us! You do NOT need to have any yoga experience whatsoever.

👉 This workshop teaches about the history of yoga therapy, and how you can use BEGINNER FRIENDLY yoga therapy tools within the context of a Brainspotting session. The two modalities blend beautifully together, and anyone who works 1x1 with clients therapeutically can join.
