Park Closure at Barks and Recreation Dog Park!

🐶🐾Thank you to everyone who joined us for the grand opening of Barks and Recreation on Wednesday. 🐶🐾

Your support and enthusiasm mean a lot to our team.❤️

Because of this spring's unusually wet weather, some of the concrete work did not reach the point of completion we had planned for the opening. To ensure a safe a durable surface for park users and their dogs, our contractor needs a short period with the park closed to finish pouring and allow the concrete to cure.

🚧As a result, Barks and Recreation will be closed temporarily starting this morning through next week. 🚧

We anticipate reopening the following week once work is completed.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we wrap up this final phase. Our goal is to provide a high-quality facility that will serve the community well for many years.🐶🐾

Established in 1989, the Children's Farm brings the charm of a farm setting to Outagamie County, allowing residents to experience Wisconsin's rich dairying heritage without having to leave the area. Although Wisconsin is known as the Dairy State, not everyone has access to farms or their animals. That's where our farm steps in, providing both fun and educational experiences.

Farm is FREE to visit and Open Daily now until fall
