We’re thrilled to announce a special Artist in Residence coming to Lawrence Community Girl Choir for Fall 2026! 🎢✨

This season, singers will have the opportunity to work with an internationally recognized singer, composer, and educator.

Elise Witt has performed everywhere from Carnegie Hall in New York City to the legendary Bluebird CafΓ© in Nashville and led workshops all over the world β€” and now she’ll be collaborating with our Girl Choir singers through music, creativity, and community.

Known for her engaging, joyful approach to music-making, Elise works with singers of all ages to build confidence and connection through song.

This is a unique opportunity for young singers to:
🎡 Work with a composer as you learn and perform her original music
🎡 Build confidence and leadership
🎡 Experience inspiring workshops and performances

Our Music for People with Disabilities classes create a welcoming space for children, teens, and adults to experience the joy of making music together.

Led by board-certified music therapist, Sara Devine, participants are encouraged to socialize, communicate, and have fun in ways that honor their individual strengths and needs.
