CBC provides blood, platelets and plasma to more than 40 hospitals throughout the Midwest. The Community Blood Center (CBC) uses social media as a way to engage with the community. We monitor Facebook and respond to questions in a timely manner during business hours (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.). Messages and comments received outside of regular business hours will be addressed on the next bus

The Community Blood Center partnered with America’s Blood Centers, Vitalant and Versiti to collect lifesaving donations at the in Chicago.
🤝 Together, we collected 112 units of blood and helped bring awareness to the national blood shortage among legislators and conference attendees from across the country.
