Our hearts are with everyone affected by the devastating storms and tornado damage throughout our community.
We are praying for the families facing unimaginable loss, those whose homes and businesses have been damaged, and everyone navigating the difficult days ahead. We are also incredibly grateful for the first responders, utility crews, volunteers, and neighbors who have already stepped up to help.
In moments like this, we are reminded of the strength of our community. We will stand together, support one another, and move forward side by side.
For those who have been affected, and those looking for ways to help here are several local resources and opportunities for support:
• The Wandering Table is providing free lunches to anyone affected by the storms, along with first responders, and any others assisting with recovery.
Tuesday, July 28 at Menasha Utilities
Wednesday, July 29 at Grainworks
11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
• The American Red Cross is using Christ the Rock’s building as a temporary shelter location.
• Luigi’s Pizza & Pasta in Menasha is offering 50% off to first responders Tuesday through Thursday and is accepting donations to help those in need.
• Piggly Wiggly is providing free bottled water while supplies last.
• Waverly Beach Bar & Grill in Menasha is providing free boxed lunches to those affected Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 1:00–4:00 p.m., while supplies last.
• Volunteer Fox Cities has created a sign-up page for community members interested in helping with storm response and recovery efforts.
• Food trucks and drinks are available in the north parking lot of the former UW Oshkosh Fox Cities campus.
