❄️As we’re wrapping up plowing operations from Blizzard Elsa, we want to give a huge THANK YOU to our incredible Appleton Department of Public Works crew. ❄️

Over the past several days, this crew worked long shifts in true blizzard conditions to keep our community moving. Crews worked around the clock, tirelessly, to clear a record setting 24 inches of snow from city streets.

This kind of effort takes dedication, teamwork, and a commitment to serving our community, often while most of us are safely at home. Our operators, mechanics, supervisors, and support staff all played a part in making sure roads were cleared and residents could travel safely.

While the storm has passed, the work is far from over. Crews will continue working over the coming weeks to clean up and haul away snow to help restore normal conditions throughout the city.

We are incredibly grateful for the hard work, long hours, and professionalism shown by our entire DPW team.
